the Last Scrimage

I wasnt able to make it to the last scrimage today.
Was anybody there to let me know how it went?
I was watching most of the practices this week and saw the defense line and lb's flying around but also saw the corners get burned a few times.
Just got season tickets and Im ready to head down to Beaver town to see a great upset in the making.. :)

That be a good thing. We have really good, experienced corners so if the offense is able to burn them we will run wild in the Big Sky. :D
Reality or wishful thinking??

Depends on which corners were on the field at the time of said burning. If it was our starters, that's probably a good thing because we already know they can hold their own in the BSC and also probably means we have faster WR's than last season.

krg281, The scrimmage today was quite different from last weeks. I think all of the #1 defense didn’t participate. On offense for the #1s, only the offensive line and VA participated. Not the quality of last weeks scrimmage, but with most of the #1s resting, I think that can be expected. It was good to see all of the young players get a bunch of reps.

Time to get this season rolling!

Makes sense... Baldwin said in last week's post-scrimmage interview that the main thing they needed to work on was the #2's getting into game shape in case they need to step in. Makes sense, cause it also gives the starters a chance to be as fresh as possible for OSU.

Couple things I noticed. Bronson wasn't wearing a boot and was off crutches :thumb: . Kendrick Bourne is talented. The new QB (lefty), Conner Richardson throws a sweet ball.

Not sure if Bronson will make it back for OSU but how about Forte? How did the other RB's look and does anyone know the status of DJ Martin?

Seattle Eagle,
Jabari Wilson, RB did not play, Nick Washburn, RB did play, he had an ice pack on his left shoulder after the game, and Is now worried about next week. Our Defense is so damn awesome, I saw so many individuals getting into the game, i.e. Jake Gall, Albert Havili, Samson Ebukan, Joe Douglas, Andre Lino, Bronson Schmidt (this young man is very strong, and is going to "ROCK" someone on the other team ;) ;) ;) he loves hitting, very strong. Our Offensive Line was making holes for the Running Backs to go through. Don't want to be bias. How about Zach Wimberly #95 on Offense, making the catch in the end zone for a TD? He was transferred from DL to TE this week after Cody Humphrey went down with a knee injury. Will close for now. "Go Eagles"!!!!! Vic Wallace

Seattle Eagle,
Heard DJ Martin is registered at the University, and should be here when classes starts in September. Lets hope he clamps down and get his grades where they should be for his own sake. Vic Wallace

I agree, we have had great success with the kids that come here and try. He looks to be a great football talent, I hope the experience of EWU helps make him a student and great young man, to go with ball skills.
