The Montana Bias Still Strong

We all know over the years that the Griz get the benefit of the doubt in every sport from BSC officials. All the other schools just know they have to play that much better to overcome it. We’ve been burned many times.

I just turned on the UM/ISU game and saw three consecutive plays where the Bengals got jobbed. First, they make a stuff on a run. Personal foul is called on a Bengal for lifting a Griz player off the pile. Griz move into the red zone. Next play, Marcus Knight runs up the the middle again and the Bengals strip the ball out, at the 3 and recover. Refs say he was down, booth does not stop play to review. Next play, knight tries to jump over the goal line and maybe gets in, maybe doesn’t. Not one replay shown, refs hurry to line up the XP, and it’s good. Play in theory was reviewed as scoring play, but dayum!

Holy crap, 3 plays later the UM returner touches the punt, and a Bengals recovers for a TD, booth reviews, says “nahhhhh” lol - UM ball.

Bungles played their nuts off and almost beat the Griz - honestly the 14 point swing of the muffed punt no call was the difference here. Yikes…
