I picked up my little piece of the Inferno yesterday. And the new turf looks fantastic! It got me thinking, Man have I seen some fun football on that turf! I got to thinking, what was the best game I ever saw on that turf. The original Inferno went in before the 2010/2011 National Championship season. Here is my list of the best games I saw on the turf.

09/18/10: EWU 36 MT 27, EWU beats the Griz for the first win on the original inferno. Fans rush the field giving Montana one last chance at a score. Renard Williams sacks Justin Roper, forces a fumble, recovers and takes it to the house. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeNmrBybXUU&t=31s

That 10-14 PSU game often gets forgotten but what a game! Remember watching on TV and when PSU scored thier last TD and my wife couldn't watch anymore and said "they've lost this one" but that was the team that beat Oregon State and Montana at Montana and they pulled it out of the fire! Classic nail bitter. Can't find anything of that game on the net, too bad!

I was at that Idaho State game in 2014, a warm weather shootout! That was the game where VA playes the whole 4th quarter with a broken foot. I remember being impressed with the Idaho state TE. Big/tall kid that was fast. I remember he did alot of damage. They might of replayed both of these games on SWX but i live on the wacky West side and have no way to see those games.
 
Don't forget the warm september game against Montana State, Dakota and VA had some insane stats that game.

That was an absolute epic game! It has been replayed a few times on Root this year on the Root classic games. 2014/2015 season. That games was played in Bozeman and not on the red turf. .Bobcats get out to the lead, Eags claw back in, convert several 4th downs on the final drive. Go for two and VA gets in for the win! Great game!
 
Ok fine! I was off by a year.

2015 EWU won 55-50. Jordan West popped off and we thought we were good to go! Little did we know.
