So we didn't have the best game ever tonight, but having watched portions of the UM @ NAU game, their game looked SLOOOOOOWWWW.......... Maybe we have been playing fast, athletic teams lately (EWU, PSU, MSU) but I would have to think that our team speed should give Montana fits on Saturday. Being one of the best free throw shooting teams in the country, we should attack the rim early to open up the outside shots later on and get the GIRLZIES in foul trouble. Should be a GOOD, HARD-FOUGHT competitive game, but I think we have too much fire-power on offense for them to keep up. Good thing we got our poor shooting game out of us against State. Weber 80 Montana 73.

Big game tomorrow. Montana is playing really well right now. Biggest issue for the Cats is getting Bull and Mook back into Rythmn. Gotta hand it to Lord Byron last night. He played great. His second 3 was the dagger that killed the Bobs hopes. Once he hit that, their bench dropped their heads.

Students should go after Cherry hard. He is the one who hammered Lillard with a foul that wasn't called at halfcourt in the final seconds of the 2010 tourney title game.

He is a quick good defender, but not a great perimeter shooter. Students should turn him into the villain like Waters was. Get into his head in Pre-game about how awesome he shoots the 3. Let him know he should really start using the glass when he shoots his 3 balls. It would be nice to hear Cherry sucks
Cherry sucks
Cherry sucks
Cherry sucks.... Make sure all the E-Griz fans can hear it on BigSkyTV.... Waters style

They looked slow putting up 55 in the first half? Man, I sure hope they don't play fast against us! LOL

They are not slow on the perimeter. They will play good, sound defense, all game long. To beat them you must take care of the ball and rebound. It might be time to play less of the small lineup and more of Bull and Mook at the three. This is a game where we must go inside often, and not just fire up the first 3 that presents itself.

Last night, our D was sollid, but our O was disfunctional. I'm hoping that they clean that up for Saturday night. This Montana team is not like State, at all. If we play the way we did last night, we will lose.

Did you watch the game? Montana got nothing but layups because Northern Arizona adopts a "don't play defense" defense. I've never seen so many wide open lanes for easy layups.

I agree depending on who's in. Some of their bench guards are among the slowest people on the planet.
