• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

I heard the team was doing a "boot camp" so thank you for sending information about it. Looked pretty tough, hopefully this intensity will carry over to the court and lots of wins!

It was really good to see Cody John in the video, he looks great! I had heard from a semi-reliable source that his injury was pretty serious and may not allow him to continue, but I am glad to see him back and looking strong.

Wow!! So yesterday was media day; had no idea. Great getting a chance to see the team and drinking the purple kool-aid. There is a lot of potential with this team. However, will this team address the biggest issues with last years team? First, will Coach actually play more than 7 guys (I'm being a little dramatic here, but he really needs to expand his rotation)? Defensively last years team wasn't the best. Yes, we continued to be one of the best at defending the 3, but inside the arch we were bad. Teams easily penetrated the lane and could score in the front court fairly easily. Lastly, will this team actually know how to rebound? Last year we gave up way too many second chance points and didn't create enough. Our rebounding has been bad the last two years. Fundamentally our guys are out of position and too interested in the finesse aspects instead of crashing the glass and playing solid fundamental basketball.

First day of practice today. Was anyone able to go? Would love to hear comments about it. In studying some of these guys' stats previous to their arrival at Weber, it appears rebounding won't be an issue this year. Johnson and Barnes had great rebounding stats from the guard line, and so did Fuller, Kupsas, and Zdor for the bigs. Should be a fun year.
