The Viking Sound

The Sound was a bright spot in Saturday's loss. I checked out the audio in every part of the stadium and they come through loud and clear. I think this is really a great addition this year. Their version of the fight song is the best I've ever heard. Seems a bit more complex than when it was played in the Walsh/Glanville era. The coordination of DJ and Band is getting better. If The Sound has a fundraising event (the program suggested they might) we should publicize it on this board.
 
My only gripe about them was playing happy music when we were on third and fourth down. Last time I checked, punting the ball isn't something to get excited over.

But otherwise, I'm glad we finally have a band.
