The weather outside....

Reminds me of the "embrace the suck" term DZ coined. I can't remember who on this board said it last year during the playoffs but it had something to do with their ass freezing to the toilet seat in the blue outhouse. Very funny and I still chuckle about that a year later  . I'm hoping we get to embrace the suck again this December. Go Eags!

farmers almanac says above average temps, above average precipitation, below average snowfall. Only snow is supposed to be last week of November and 1st week of December, rain the rest of the time...

Can't complain about that!

Man...what game was that last year that was lik 6 degrees? Am I remembering it right? They opened up Reese during halftime as a warming shed. Actually a really good time.

That was me. Won't happen this year as I won't make the mistake of driving the battle wagon over in December and having the pipes freeze and the diesel in the fuel tank gel. It's the luxurious Willow Springs Motel for me and the little lady!

Embrace the suck!

Anyone remember the 2010 run? All three playoff games were nasty cold. SEMO was freezing, NDSU was cold and wet, Villanova was freezing and at night.

Hopefully we have another one of those runs in us...

I remember it, and man was that a blast!! Too bad so many others missed out... Attendance for those three games were around 3,300, 4000, and 6,600.

Warm weather games are nice and easy, but there's something about setting up the tailgate, shelters, fire pits, and pots of stews and chili's that I enjoy even more. It's like elk hunting camp. You have to earn the comfort.

I remember NDSU perfect, it was my birthday after all :) A BIRTHDAY MIRACLE!! That son of a gun was a full blizzard for the entire 2nd half, and BLM still had a 80 (+?) yard winning touchdown drive to go ahead. I also remember lots of fumbles.

Villanova I recall being in the tri cities watching, rest of the details were fuzzy.

SDSU last year was the only game I got to treck to, I've been making a habit of being a playoff only attendee :(, it's tough with little ones and a wife that despises football. Long story short, that was crazy cold!

My roommate and I still haven't turned on the heat to save electricity. I am typing from beneath three full comforters as we speak.

NDSU was the worst of the bunch because it started dumping snow after halftime. Then back to back kickoff returns to open the half and a bunch of turnovers, missed field goals, and a great game tying drive.

I remember the SEMO and NDSU games, NOBODY was there. Tickets were only $5 or $10 for non-season ticket holders.

There was a decent crowd for the Villanova game, but that game was COLD.

We were at all three and for some reason it seemed like the NDSU game was the coldest! I remember sitting through the replay review thinking that we deserved to be on the right side of the decision if for no other reason that we didn't play in a dome!
