This day in Eagle Championship run lore

It's my birthday, and I clearly remember a particular bovine esque creature trying to crush the eags championship dreams during a blizzard in Cheney. I also remember a spectacular drive orchestrated by BLM in the 4th, during the aforementioned blizzard for the go ahead score. I also don't recall anything about questionable calls that stopped the said other teams drive on the goal line.

Anything else fun happen on Dec 11 in EWU history?

"The Drive", as it will forever be known in Eagle football history, which featured not one, but two 4th down conversions. What a game.

Happy B-Day!

Giving me chills. AWESOME memory! Happy B-Day TomQ

That was like 4 games in one. Taiwan going off, NDSU keeping it close and back to back kickoff returns to the house, the dark ages where we could do nothing right, the drive, upon further review...

Make that 5 games in one.

SE, I need another copy please...

That was a great birthday! Although my girlfriend (now wife) bailed at halftime...

Copies of that game anywhere?

I can remember the NDSU trolls on here saying that their backup RB was better than TJ, and how his speed was exaggerated. Then he runs for 230+ yards in the first half.

Rewatching this Dec 11 game. After being up 14-0, EWU missed 2 HUGE plays, and INT thrown to Sherrit (i think) which allowed the first 3 points for NDSU, and a dropped touchdown through Kauffman's hands, which led to NDSU's TD. Couple of those plays could have really turned this into a blowout instead of a close game IMO.

+1, I used to have a digital copy but it got lost when my external HD fried itself, along with several other games to include the NC game. :(
