This kid has EWU written all over him

Isiah Brown, who averaged 30 ppg as a senior in Seattle, is transferring from Northwestern. This is the type of kid EWU or PSU has been all over in the past. 6-1 scoring PG — Big Sky type of player.

Good enough to be admitted to Northwestern, yet, ends up at EWU? Washington is the only connection. Homesick, maybe, but at this point in his life? No. Stranger things have happened. We'll see.

I wonder if Jim Hayford at Seattle U. might reach out to him.

If we're going after Northwestern basketball players, I'd want Charlie Hall... :D

It’d be cool to have Elaine in the house. 😏

Read a couple articles on this.Had good freshman year, but second year he was half as productive, so got less playing time. Benched six straight games.

Yes very weird situation. NU was struggling to find depth all year but Collins refused to play Brown for a long stretch. Didn’t have a productive year, but has the skills and athleticism to contribute in the right system. I can see him fitting perfectly in the Big Sky, where volume shooting PGs flourish.

Louis was wooed by Coach Evans to come here, but he opted for GCU, apparently. Understandable.

With the resources that school has they probably pay a lot more for coaches.
