Lynn Hickey said she was raising ticket prices...she was right(went to get season tickets today).

The Griz are running a "special pricing" for tickets which is the same price as our highest price tickets.

Eastern only has about 1/2 the number of seats to sell. Why aren't we charging more?

Questions; Does UM they have metal bleachers facing the sun during summer weather or on a freezing day covered with snow? Sitting on those is torture. Also, seems as if sitting on home side the seats are very narrow...very narrow(good idea charging extra for the seat backs, at least you have a seat). Has EWU done away with splitting the pot tickets? That was fun and raised money and I remember going to the UM games and they would have HUGE pots. EWU is building a solid base still alot of season tickets left to sell we aren't at the stage UM was when waiting for season tickets was a 3+ year wait.

If you go look at the ticket pricing on goeags.com you will see their discounted price is same as our best seating prices. The bleacher seating is much less.
Look at the bigger picture, if there were 10,000 seats and they could raise average ticket by 10. that would be 100,000 per game!

clawman, any idea how much they raised prices(if at all) from last year? When I looked with the mandatory EAF fee it seemed as though they went up and seems to me to be a weak home schedule for a variety of reasons. I know it depends on where you want seats as far as season tickets are concerned. I personally will no longer sit in the bleachers after enduring heat and bitter cold sitting in them last year as I didn't renew my season tickets from year before and at the time I got seats all home side seats were gone. The marketing in me says you must build a base before raising prices by a substantial or any amount. Perhaps we have built a solid lasting base, I want to believe that but I hesitate in fear of a losing season or two. I'm not try to be a negative here as I'm super stoked for this season and have never felt down deep like I do this year we are a championship team in the making.

IMO historically Eastern tickets have been cheap. I know we are not the Pac12 but look at what our neighbors 100 miles south charge. https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/pachtml-production/www/washst/images/other/2019_Martin_Stadium_Map.jpg
This is for a 7pm game and a 2 hour drive home afterward.
(and yes they too have some metal bleachers!)

After checking out same level seats at most schools in the BSC there are three schools that have the mandatory EAF type fees tacked on to the seat price. EWU, MSU and UM have them and are priced similarly while all other schools don't thus making them much more affordable.
**The blaring difference is we have 5 home games while almost every other team has 6!!!!!

Good stuff clawman. Idaho,MSU, UM all have donation fee like we do about the same price as we do. Diff is they have 6 home games we have 5. All those other teams that have 6 home games tickets are cheaper than ours for same level seats. Unless I'm reading it wrong

I'm not going to drive to Pocatello or Portland because the tickets are cheaper. I am an Eagle fan. Fans pay what it takes to follow their passion.

clawman, my point is they did in fact raise prices to the point we are possibly the highest per game in the entire 13 team conference and you mentioned "Why aren't we charging more"???? Title of thread was Hickey said she was going to raise prices of tickets and she did. And for what...nothing is getting done on the stadium...rentback 60's said.. shit been on rentback for 10 years...whats a few more.

LOL.... "I'm not going to drive to Pocatello or Portland because the tickets are cheaper. I am an Eagle fan. Fans pay what it takes to follow their passion." very profound on an EWU message board!
