any ticket promotions or discounts anyone can tell me about fo rhte griz game? i would like to come to the sac game to see the hornets beat the griz (as long as sac loses to weber the week before :D ) ?

since wsu isnt playing sac, davis or poly in CA the best game i see on the schedule in the area is griz at sac. :thumb: ill probab go check out a game at stanford n cal too. i came to the sac game for bball last yr vs weber. i though the football facility was pretty nice. i went and took a pic on the field.

No idea about promotions but you can give the ticket office a call and see what they offer:

I believe the chair back seats require a donation to the Stinger Athletic Association, but there should be plenty of general administration seats available. We’ll be coming into the game on a 2 game winning streak and this is the first home game coupled with a fan base that travels well (UM). I doubt it would be near a sellout but the UM tickets might be in demand.

thanks. you guys have a pretty sweet home line up - griz, ewu, isu.

if weber is as good as im hoping, your first 5 weeks are brutal especailly with 4 of them away. i saw suu light up utah state's D 2 yrs ago and last yr they were good and this yr they are supposed to be even better. i cant believe you have 1 home game through oct 22.

weber im hoping is a top 4 team. we think our D i solid as well our oline and qb. as far as preseason rankings go, weber is your easiest game of your first 5.

sac at weber is our first home game, im hoping for a big crowd for the first game on the new turf, its not red though.

having seen hornet stadium last spring and takin a glance just now at your box scores from your home games the last 2 yrs im surprised what a mirror image our 2 facilities are and home attendance (minus your davis game in 2009).

Why is it that everyone wants to negate the fact that we get higher attendance for the Causeway Classic? It was a home game, therefore it counts toward home attendance stats. :thumb:

i wasn't talking about overall attendance average. i was just surprised to see such a high number for that one game. you have higher attendance average than weber. i wish we could get a crowd like that for our rival isu. but they suck so no one comes down from idaho. maybe we can get something like that for suu. that is our new rival. i am sure we will see higher attendace for suu than isu....well unless the game is like the one against nau 2 yrs ago!

we had a snow game vs sac in 2007. it was a fun game. but it was nothing like the nau game in 2009 lol funnything about the nau game is 1 hr before kickoff it wasnt even snowing and the ground clear. nau had 60 yds passing. the next week at the dome they had 600 yds passing

sac's band came to the sac snow game in '07. they were freezing. our students were nice and let them spend time in the purple pak shack and have a hot drink.

agree

If we had more rivals in California who played at Hornet Stadium attendance would be similar to when Davis comes to town. So odd that the 17,000 to 21,000 people who pack the stadium for the Davis game somehow doesn't count? There just is not near the same interest when BSC schools come 450 to 1,000 miles and many states away. Sac is a BSC outpost with no regioanl opponents that other BSC schools enjoy.

speaking of bands, would be nice to see a BSC school bring their band to Hornet Stadium. In 16 years I know of one game where a band came. It was the Idaho State band. They were great. And in terms of cheer teams we only see the Portland State cheer squad now and then. The Sac Band has went to PSU, WSU, NAU and multiple times to EWU that I know of.

That's because no one in California cares about the BSC schools. The addition of CPSLO and ucd are going to be great for attendance.

Speaking of the band... Is all that turmoil and turnover of the last couple years good and gone yet?
