• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Ticket Sales?

Hey yall, i've been reading the board for what seems to be months, but i finally bucked up and activated an account. Just wondering if anyone has a number on how many tickets we've sold for the tourney thus far. Anyone wanna drop by the ticket office and ask?? I keep having fantasy's about a sold out DEE for the final. One can only dream, i know. Anyways, thought i'd see if anyone knew. Go Cats'!!

I have no idea.. PURPLERAIN lets expand that dream a bit and hope that the DEE is full for both games next week. Weber needs a good Semi-final crowd that can help them get into the final.

Oh by the way... Welcome to the board..

I have been telling alot of people to go and support the cats, but wheather or not they will listen to me is another thing.

People not coming to games is the biggest thorn in my side. I think its the lone reason why weber state athletics can never progress from the mid major school we are in athletics. We dont have the community support and its frustrating. The athletes are here, we have the facilities, and we have the coaching staff (s). I can't think of anything that would make me happier than seeing a sold out 12,000 crowd at the DEE. I'd do terrible unforgivable things for that, thanks for the welcome tal!

I agree, but I do not fault only the community on this one (although there is a lot of blame there to go around). The university has never really figured out how to market to WSU's fan base, which as I have stated before is largely a Weber/Davis County following. So they go to the Standard-Examiner and local billboards for their advertising. It just doesn't quite cut it. I am not saying I know what the answer is, but I know that what they do doesn't really work. Maybe get a TV spot or two on actual television, not just channel 9 and 17.
