SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento State athletic department’s ticket allotment for the Sept. 4 away game at Stanford has sold out. Tickets for the game can still be purchased by calling 1-800-Stanford, or online at http://www.gostanford.com.

Reserved tickets can be bought for just $25, in Sacramento State cheer sections 126 & 128 and 226-228. General admission tickets are also available for $12.

When purchasing tickets online, please select the quantity of tickets followed by your preferred seating area.

Fans also have the option of buying round-trip bus travel as well as tailgate tickets for just $50. Buses are scheduled to depart from the Alumni Center at 11 a.m. and arrive in Stanford between 1-1:30 p.m. Fans can then tailgate in a designated Hornet area (Koret Plaza, located at the corner of Campus Drive and Galvez Street) until the 3:30 p.m. kick.

To purchase the fan bus package simply log on to http://www.sacstatealumni.com/ and click on the ‘Hornet Fan Bus’ link.

Will you be on the bus? My buddies and I will be.

No. I'll be tailgating though, (I think they still allow tailgating, Its been years since I've been there). If you guys get there in time head on over.

We paid for the Hornet tailgate, but if we get bored there we'll seek out some fellow Hornets.

Just picked up 6 tickets in Section 128 for the game. I couldn't find any information about tailgating at Stanford Stadium so if anyone has info, please pass it along. Thanks.

Cheers --- Go Hornets!

Visitor's section is not sold out. Go to "gostanford.com" click on the tickets section and look for tickets in sections 126, 128, 226, 227 or 228. Those are all the visitor sections. I picked up four tickets in section 128 yesterday.

Here is the link: http://ev10.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncom...kID=stanford&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode=

Type in type in the number of tickets you want and then click on the section you want and you'll know in a minute or two if they are available and can then purchase them if you want.

With respect to tailgating, Stanford has acres and acres of tailgating areas.

Here is the guide to tailgating and parking. You tailgate where you park normally, but there are other reserved areas without cars.
