It's been a rough & tumble ride of the last 4 seasons as a Wildcat fan.

I've been waiting for this since Mbunga destroyed our interior & Bynum dunked over D Davis & we were bounced in the Semi's in our own house & twice that season by MSU. Then AJ goes nutz & erases a 20 pt halftime lead & bounced again in our house. Lillard's injury made me sick. Valiant effort though last season. Here we are let's bring it home Wildcats. I wanna dance.

Yeah. The Montana State semifinal loss hurt. The Montana championship miracle was excruciating. I'm gonna play 'Joker and the Thief' every day until Tuesday, because I too, wanna go dancing. :grenade:

It's final. The winner of Tuesday's game will host. ISU did us a favor by losing to Sac on their home floor. MSU couldn't complete the deal in Mizzu. However, MSU did take the Griz all the way to the wire, in a low scoring event.

It is going to be an epic battle this Tuesday night. The Cats are ready, the Griz are ready, lets get it on!!!

I was just checking out the box score for the UM MSU game and noticed Montana basically only played six guys the whole game. Is that normal for them? Low scoring game too 57 to 47?????

yes, that is typical. they aren't deep. too bad Weber doesn't have either Otis or Hajek to add some depth in the post.

It looks like they had 10 players play, but only 3 points from their entire bench.

Otis first game back from the b.yu injury was against UM, & while he provided a great spark off the bench that game that started to give us separation he only played 11 minutes. He had 7 pts, 1 Rebound.

It was Bullinger's 2nd game back from his San Jose injury, he played 16 minutes, & 0 pts, 2 Rebounds. Obviously Bullinger brings us more than pts, but he is alot closer to his 2011 1st team All-Conference self than he was against Montana 6 weeks ago, but I do wish Otis & Hajek's knees would magically heal for the rest of the season.

We should have the same effective lineup the last time we met, with exception to Fulton & Lillard. I don't think they'll be able to keep Lillard under his average again. Fulton only played 11 minutes & 5 pts. He could easily double or triple that output as we've seen from him as of late.

I expect a hard fought, defensive battle. A lot will depend on how the zeebs call the game. If they let the players play, I would think think that WSU has the advantage. If they call it inconsistantly, it's a crap shoot. If they call it closely, but consistantly, once again, WSU has the advantage. If what normally happens in Mizzu happens, and we get a one sided game called, MSU wins a close one. Such is the nature of the home court advantage. There are some refs that love to hear the crowd boo. I hope we get a couple of those. We all know who they are. When we have had these refs in the Dee, I have always wished we could get these same officials on the road. Unfortunately, the BSC doesn't have enough of them to have at least one at every game. As a team, you hope that you can adjust to any set of officials. However, how do you adjust to three refs who, colectively, don't understand the rules of the game, let alone the game itself. I would hope, for a TV game, a game of this import, that the BSC would want to put its best foot forward.

We can only hope. :coffee:
