The university of Albany just built this stadium that will open this year. It will seat 8500 but can be expanded to 25K. This cost $24 million. ISU has to look at doing something new.

That would be nice but that's also a lot of money to try to come up with. Really that's always the bottom line, can you get the funds (and the land I guess) to pay for a project of this magnitude?
You'd have to think ISU has been looking at ways for potentially a new basketball only arena and maybe a football stadium, (given the ages of Holt Arena and Reed Gym) how far along anything might be, I don't know.
