The Lindenwood – Belleville (IL) men’s basketball team turned heads today when Coach Spinner announced the signing of former Chaminade High School guard Todd Starks.

Starks spent three years at Chaminade before moving to Memphis and attending Tipton-Rosemark Academy. He comes to Lindenwood from Idaho State University where he red shirted his freshman year and played for the varsity this past season.

That is too bad. I considered Starks one of the bright spots of last season. The kid really didn't look like a walk-on at all. I am glad that Todd got the opportunity to earn a scholarship to play somewhere.

Wow, we couldn't keep this guy around? Showed up to play (imo) more than some scholly players. Good luckTodd and sorry they couldn't keep you around.

The coaching staff here helped Todd with this...paying his own way from Memphis was expensive, and this gets his school taken care off. They would have liked to have had him around, but there were no scholarships to give...
