Bone looks that recruit in the eyes and tells him how sweet the tourney was and then he tells him how sweet it would be to win. We are building this team I know that, but it starts tomorrow. If you want to beat KU its starts now.

85 signing off hope you got some of that fervor in your blood today, because to win it takes more than wishing. The Vikings can do this it just takes some ballz.

Just wanted to stop by and say how impressed I was with your team. They never had that "deer caught in the headlights" look that many predicted. You're definitely a program going places, and I look forward to following your rising star next season. Many of you have visited us at kusports.com, and can't remember a classier group of folks as you Vikings are. Be proud of what your team has accomplished. Trust me. Now that they've had that taste of tournament blood in their mouths, they'll only want more. Best of luck to you all.

Chuck

I was impressed by KU as well. Unlike so many #1 seeds in the past, they clearly did not just think PSU was going to be a walkover. They played about as well as they can and PSU didn't do too badly either. Good luck to you the rest of the way.

So was I. But I want to win. $%^# Canzano and all those pecker woods telling PSU fans they have no shot. Its pretty clear we do. Instead of saying yeah well were ok losing to KU (no offense KU fans) we played well, lets play great. Bone is back for another year. ONE more time I love the VIKS but lets do it again (Vik fans grab our intensity we have this year) and lets carry into next season. UO has 10 tourney births five of those were back to back(yeah I know what that means reference my post). New era new University lets create our own tradition. Give me shet about my intensity all of the KU FANS WONT.

That's exactly the attitude to have. Sports writers and commentators aren't the ones suiting up and living and dying with every game. It's the teams, coaches, and fans. Never settle for less just because your conference doesn't get the attention it should. And don't buy into that "Cinderella" crap like Gonzaga did years ago.

Thank you

Some Fans think I am crazy because I wake up bleeding my alma mater's colors. But you know what I don't care I am colored blind and my blood actually looks green to me. Then again I am also Irish.

Have to completely disagree, Kansas did NOT play "about as well as they can". Kansas played with a B+ effort/game in the 1st half and probably a C- effort/game in the 2nd half... if not worse. Not taking anything away from PSU, they're a solid team on the way up, but don't think you got anything close to Kansas's best performance..... especially in the lack-luster 2nd half..

viking 1985- you are a great fan, never faulter
ku's fan base was not built in 10 years, and you all have done great in 10 years
your team and fan base will continue to grow and you will find others as dedicated as you
again, hope to see the Vikings again next year
Rock Chalk Jayhawks!!

I am a Jayhawk because my Mom and Dad are KU Alumni. Hell, my Dad played Football at KU. So I've been decked out in Jayhawk gear out of the womb.
I am also an alumni of VCU. Yes, that VCU. Beat Duke in the first round last year, and got jobbed by the committee this year.
My point is that VCU is kinda like y'all. For a long time there were no tournament berths for us, but now (if Anthony Grant doesn't jump to Indiana or LSU) there is a growing BBall tradition of excellent mid-major achievement.
So basically, hang in there. Y'all are playing some good ball. You gave us a better game than Texas Tech.
