Nice to see former Viking Tony Curtis make a huge play in the Monday Night Football game tonight. Huge onside recovery helped Dallas get the win. Way to go Tony.

Yeah, I heard the name, and I had to look it up and see if it was really him. Great to see he is getting some playing time.

Thank goodness for the Associated Press wire service. The Oregonian would have just let that bit of hometown news hang out to dry. Such undeserved cruelty from those persons who wish to kick over the ladder once they've made it up the rungs. Noblesse oblige, Oregon!

His problem during his PSU days was shotty hands but he definately planted me many a times while run blocking during practice. He is deceptively strong, obviously he has fixed his problems catching the ball because he has lasted in the NFL for 3 years now.

He is making PSU proud, good for him.

Yes, he had only played TE for about 1 year prior to coming to PSU (DE for much of his JC years). He was such a raw "talent" that it was only a matter of time. Too bad guys like that are so hard to get out of HS.

Tony Curtis picked-up by the Philadelphia Eagles:

The Philadelphia Eagles signed linebacker Curtis Gatewood and tight end Tony Curtis today. To make room on the roster, the Eagles released quarterback Adam DiMichele and wide receiver Shaheer McBride.

Curtis, out of Portland State, played in 16 games for the Dallas Cowboys last season.

Gatewood, from Vanderbilt, spent time with the Washington Redskins and Kansas City Chiefs last year as a rookie.
