I found a decent article about Toone having a decent shot at getting picked up for the last receiver slot on the Falcon's roster.

Any thoughts on his chances???

Here's an even better article about it.

the Tim Toone touchdown catch from the other night made it into the latest episode of HBO's Hardknocks last night. He burned that DB pretty badly in fact, that DB was cut by the Dolphins the very next day.

Still have 4 Weber players in the NFL.

Who are they and which teams are they with?
Joe Collins WR the Jets
Tim Toone WR Falcons
The Brothers McQuistan, one in Seattle and the other in Dallas with the Cowgirls.
Yep. AJ got them. Pat and Paul McQuistan. They are twins. But they have been in the league for a few years now. Joe Collins and Tim Toone are quite new. The big worry is them. ESPN keeps pretty good track on who gets cut and all. Here's a link.

It's official. He survived today's final cuts and is listed as the No. 5 receiver on the regular-season roster. HUZZAH!

Couldn't be happier for him. He really busted his hump for all of those practice squads. Looks like all that hard work paid off! Congrats to Mr. Irrelevant!!

go toone!

here is the falcons schedule

Pat Mcquistan was cut by the Dallas Cowgirls but then promptly signed to a one year contract by the Arizona Cardinals

Tim Toone was cut by ATL today.
That sucks. The article I read said he suffered some sort of injury. Sad to see him keep getting hurt. He was so damn durable at Weber, so it's kind of strange to hear. :-(
