Any guesses on whether Weber will be ranked this coming week?

After our win over UM Western Weber moved from unranked to #25.

After the loss to Cal, Weber fell out to #26

Will our win and #21 UNI'S loss to SUU propel us into the top 25?. I dont think a 1-2 UNI deserves to be in ahead of us

Thoughts?

I don't really care about beauty contests, this time of the season. It may matter just a little at the end. :coffee:

Not a strong year for the Big Sky, although it is nice to see teams like Idaho State getting votes again. Hope that success continues, would love to see the Weber/ISU rivalry become meaningful again and pick up some steam.

Cal Poly Head Coach Tim Walsh thinks Weber State is the best team in the Big Sky Conference and he may be right.

So does MSU head coach Jeff Choate, however, gotta still give the nod to Eastern, they have been the top dog in the conference for a while now and until we can take them out they gotta be considered the best.

Having said that this Weber State team is more than capable of beating the Eagles. but there are 3 other road blocks in our way in SUU, Cal Poly and Montana. Before talking about beating Eastern we gotta make sure we can get past the next 3, none of which will be easy.

For the Wildcats, this is a great week to have a bye. Under Coach Hill, I really like how prepared the Cats are after a bye week. You give him a week he does a good job, you give him more time, he does a great job of preparing his team. Very similar to Utah while under Whittingham.

I can't imagine that anyone involved is going to have a hard time getting up and ready for SUU. I think this is a great time for a bye week. We will be going into this game almost totally healthy and raring to go.
I think that everyone also knows that SUU will be coming in fired up to play us. We just need to continue moving the direction that we have been moving and we should be okay. :coffee:
