Five best dunks in the 2000s:

1. Daviin Davis' dunk over Sloth
2. Patten's windmill at the Holt
3. Nic Sparrows mid air rebound to dunk at the Reid
4. Boyettes one hander against USU after passing the ball off a USU players back.
5. Coric Riggs game ending dunk against Sac in 05.

This is a hard one (thats what she said) to write about.

Hmmm....

Lets go with one player David Patten:

1. Reverse dunk at home against SUU.
2. The reverse dunk against UCLA in the NCAA tournament.
3. Up and under dunk at home against Eastern (he was wearing the mask I believe).
4. The Technical Dunk against SUU (He slapped the backboard).
5. He had a great two hander against USU that actually shut up their student section.

Sorry guys, but I gotta throw this one in -- Will Bynum (made the SportsCenter Top Ten list at #1 when it happened):

THat was indeed a very impressive dunk.

My favorite is a lesser-known one, because it came in the same game where Bynum dunked on Davis. It was late in the game and WSU was on it's way to the upset loss in the Big Sky semis when Lillard went up and over Cody Anderson for the posterizing slam, staring him down immediately afterward. :notworthy:

None of you saw this, but Bruce Collins did a skywalker from the freethrow line that made highlight reals everywhere. He took three steps and was called for traveling. However, what the knucle head BSC ref didn't realize was that all of those steps were in the air. It played over and over on every news channel in the country. I don't think there was ever an appology from the league or the ref. It didn't hurt BSC refs reputations any. You can't go any lower than in the toilet anyway.

Kellen McCoy?? I only remember him attempting one dunk and it was against ISU.

Matas Niperavicious dunked the basketball once in the warmups of the purple and white game in 2005 or 2006. Right?
You ought to be ashamed of yourself. Danko's was way better. He was stuffed by the rim the first try, but he didn't give up. He barely got it over the rim the second try. It was pretty cool.

Thanx for the love, Tallhad....I had almost forgotten about that pic.
MY Fav dunk was Bruce( HI "C" ) Collins against the "Pewts". He left the floor at the free throw line, did an airwalk, wrapped the ball around his back to avoid a defender and... SLAM!! He was called for traveling(BS!) but, what a hella dunk!
I have asked all over and search the internet but cannot find video of that dunk. Does anyone have connections to the archives? There HAS to be video some place .

it would be hard to top david patten, franklin session and daviin davis. patten had 7 dunks in one game and 6 in another. he had some pretty amzing ones but they are getting hard for everyone to recall. davis was high flying he did somethings that didnt seem possible. session as well and he was the smallest of the 3. that 360 he did was pretty spectacular. what ever happened to that video clip?
