Looks like he is trying to take advantage of a weak running back crop this year. He received a third round evaluation and supposedly could go higher than that depending on which scouts you talk to. Vernon Adams will now be the only returning player out of the top three finalists for the Payton Award this year.

I'd imagine VA is about as close as one could get to being a lock for the Payton in 2014. :nod:
