We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Simon Benson Award alumni recipient Travis Knight set to expand his animation studio Laika:

Laika plans major Hillsboro expansion

Laika, the Portland region's thrice-Oscar-nominated animation studio, is on the grow.
The company, according to the Oregonian, is boosting its Hillsboro space by 70 percent. Laika's current spot, which houses its studio, is 150,000 square feet.
The company had been thinking of expanding for some time, with Laika's Travis Knight telling the Business Journal last September that he was seeking as much as 350,000 square feet. Laika eventually hopes to produce one film per year.
"The kind of facility you'd need to make these films is a big box," he said at the time. "When we moved into this building, we were trying to find a place to suit our needs to make 'Coraline' in 2005/2006. It was huge. It was too big. Other than that, it was perfect. And by the end of 'Coraline' it was like, we don't have enough space. You fill it out."
