What would make me turn down that invite?
A lack of respect for an administration that has made a laughing stock of the U.S. government (from scary, to incompetence, to just plain old wacky) and a Senate/House that not only supports this behavior, but seems hellbent on putting America further behind the other developed nations by restricting access to healthcare, education, and other social services that other nations have managed to offer.

Put me in the camp of not turning down an invite from any President or any trip to the White House. I respect the office of the President no matter who it is. I would take any FREE opportunity to meet a sitting or former US President.

I'd go to White House in a heartbeat especially if they had cotton candy and balloons...lotsa balloons. 1) But I've spent hrs on what I'd do to get an invite and only thing I could come up if the bus I was in with the kids I coach in middle school was hijacked by some severely retarded isis terrorists. So retarded I could over take them out physically despite not carrying my pistol.

Not calling you a kid with my analogy Vic but your voice would be much more powerful @ the White House than being absent. No where, not once did I mention this President or any other, only THE White House.
Funny story. I did a two year stint in the UK as a sort of liaison officer a few years back (those of you that know anything about me are aware I'm still serving on active duty). One afternoon I received a call from the embassy requesting my presence that weekend to attend a function at 10 Downing Street with POTUS and the PM of the UK.
While I didn't really have the option of declining, I don't think I would have anyway. Despite my personal political beliefs not being totally aligned with the POTUS at the time, I went and had a good time anyway. And I'm glad I did...it was a good experience.
It's disappointing to me that the country is so politically polarized. There's plenty of blame to go around for that.

Your comments are correct again. I have never had an opportunity to attend the White House, with all the shit going on now I must say I would not accept if I am invited. Twenty years in the Military is enough for me. Good luck to all who would accept the invite, I respect all of you for that. BTW I hope my comments did not bother you. I am still the OLD Vic you have known for years.
What type of fish was that you supplied to me a few years ago, I can't remember. I am out now. Honestly I was thinking of the President, and I rally couldn't accept any invite. So much for that. I am here watching Golden State Warriors kick Cleveland Ass.107-81, 1:40 minutes left in the game. Have a great weekend, see you FB Season. Vic

Seem like you are like I am, having problems sleeping. Yes, the team is getting Bigger, Stronger, and Faster. Saw some of the Wide Receivers running the hills, attempting to get faster. We have a New Strength Coach, don't know his name, he came from Michigan State as an Assistant Strength Coach. Sam McPherson RB left on Wednesday on vacation for Bothell his Home Town, he was the RB that got hurt making the long run last year. Amir our old Strength Coach left for WSU, more money is what we all look for when there is a job involved. Can't wait for our Recruits to come in after June Graduation. I think the Team will be back sometime in July, not sure will check if I see any of the Coaches/Players. Have a great weekend. Vic

To All,
There is a FB Roster out as of the above date. 105 Players are on the Roster which includes the Recruits coming in. Two names that are not o the Roster #18 Delando Tucker DB, and Kicker Roldan Albacondas (sp). My Daughter called the Players and certify they are coming back. The 105 Players includes these two. Should mention all recruits are on this Roster. #7 Tre Weed is supposed to be a "Bad Mother, Shut your mouth . I had to smile myself. Vic E. Wallace

The fish I couldn't remember the name is (WALLEYE). I got rid of my boat, at this age I get tired very easy. I will be a young 84 on Sept 9th should I be around on that date. If I am, see you at FB Practices coming up very soon. Some people say I am so Damn Evil, the man above does not need me right now . Hope they all right. Vic
