• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

SDSU @ NDSU will be on ESPN
SHSU @ JMU will be on ESPN 2

We are stuck on the Trey along with Wofford @ YSU. Lame.

Yeah, this is really frustrating, as I have to work next week. At least it seems ESPN3 immediately puts it on demand after the game ends. Still, I would much rather DVR it...and get the additional exposure national TV would bring. That is a heck of a slot for NDSU, but ESPN seems to love the Bison.

ESPN is a business and it is just fact that we don't have a big enough fan base to draw views. Those other schools do.

If we were to win 5 consecutive national titles and sell out our stadium we would get the same exposure. Sadly, our attendance was weak. According to people I talked to in the bookstore no students were turned away for tickets. They were all paid for. Our student attendance will be worse next week as classes are getting out. We don't deserve the national TV spot with our stadium the way it is and the lack of support. People need to quit complaining and get their butts in the seats. It is the only way things are going to change.

Invite you friends and family to attend a game. Buy their tickets if you must. They need to know there is high quality division 1 football being played right in their backyard. If we increase our fan base good thing will happen.

Attendance around the country for the first 2-3 rounds of the playoffs always sucks. We averaged 4,000 fewer folks yesterday than our regular season average. I don't know why playoff attendance sucks so much...the cold, etc. maybe - but we're not alone in that regard.

It would be nice to get much larger crowds in the playoffs, but I'm not that worried about it since the NCAA keeps all the revenue from the gate. I'm more worried about regular season attendance, and we averaged about 10k this year - right where we need to be.
