The First exhibition game is on Monday night, probably around 8:15 (tip off is after the Womens game; they play at 6 get there if you can). What are we to expect from this team? It will be nice to see the Cats in action against a real opponent. Guelph, where and WTF is this?

Guelph is the same crappy French-Canadian team that WSU played last year in exhibition. I remember most of the Guelph guys had longer hair than our cheerleaders. I really think we could get 5 guys out of the stands and make a better team than Guelph

No, you are thinking of Université Laval which was the french-canadian team.

Oh yeah. my bad. But I am pretty sure that Guelph is also a French-Canadian University. I just hope these guys are better than the Ladies of Laval.

So uh, I'll be there, but a quick question. Is anyone else dressing up a ton for this? I want to wear my uniform I got, but I don't want to look out of place if no one else dresses up.

As an alumnus of Guelph, I want to politely ask all you of you to stop your mockery of my beloved school. How dare you.

final 81-36

we did better against guelph than north carolina state and boise state did.

On Aug 30th Guelph lost to East Tennesse State 88-60. On Aug 31st they lost to North Carolina State 87-47. The last game Guelph played was Nov 1st at Boise State where they lost 87-42.

After seeing the Cats play an actual opponent, I can't help not being excited about this team. I loved the enthusiasm, the selfless play, the chemistry; it was awesome. One thing that was pretty cool was the contribution made by the Freshmen (Bullinger, Lillard, and Mahoney). I'm still concerned about the slow start offensively, but the defense was intense and tenacious throughout.
I do; however, have a few concerns... Morris looked lost last night, and got into early foul trouble, and Panos looked slow and out of rhythm during the first half, he definitely improved during the course of the game, but still needs to come out of the gate a lot quicker. Weber needs its big men to contribute and be effective for the team to have any success.
