U of I cancels HS football camp.

This Statesman article was brought to my attention...looks like Idaho is canceling their high school football camp...for lack of interest?

Wow. I admit I am not a Vandal fan, but right now it's got to be tough if you are one. There are so many side bars to this: U of I doesn't have the camp as an avenue to coach and evaluate potential recruits; it is picture of the true state of their program; it doesn't paint a rosy picture for the players already in program or those recruits that are considering the U of I as their team of choice. I'm sure there are other impacts and fallouts, but these three jumped out to me when I heard about the cancellation.

FWIW...ISU also cancelled its high school 11-man football camp this week according to their camps website.

I saw that Ryan Smaha was in charge of the the ISU camp, so that might have had something to do with the cancellation...
