Gotta think Sears at SAC is on the hot seat.. but so far they haven't fired him. Aren't firings usually carried out right at the end of the season?

Usually. I believe Sac State fired their OC, so it seems like Sears is safe on that end. I know Kramer was also mentioned by some, but I believe he has the athletic department's support.

Wasn't Paul Wulff their OC?

Wulff's official title was OL coach, but I read rumors on the Sac State board that Wulff and Sears were basically co-HCs. I'm not sure how legitimate any of those rumors were.

Speaking of Wulff, I was amazed by his reaction after Sac State's win over MSU. You could see Sears, other coaches, and all the players acting like they won the Super Bowl. Wulff seemed like he was told he'd have to wait another 5 minutes for his chicken nuggets from Burger King.

Probably was remembering the flack he caught for jumping around like a loon when he won the Apple Cup.

Both Sears and Wulff coaching a lackluster, & underachieving BigSky team? I guess the missing ingredient is Beau Baldwin. That's probably why Wulff wasn't successful at WSU and why Jody wasn't a successful at Weber St or Sacramento St.
