Did we really just allow a team in 6th place in a terrible conference (Big West is 26th in conference RPI out of 33 conferences) to shoot 62% from the field and 57% from 3?! Anybody out there got any answers why our defense is so bad? If we dont force a turnover, we either foul or give away easy baskets. Pathetic.

Great. We just got beat by a 9-17 team. AND they shoot 62%? Seriously? We are fading fast. Too bad. Hopefully next year will be better. Thank God for football.

Also, just read the recap at GoEags and Coach Haford actually said the defensive effort was good! Sure the turnovers forced were good, if they shoot 62%?!?!?!?! We continue to not defend.

@1990: I didnt believe you so I read the post game comments myself, and am dumbfounded. As a coach, how can you say "We did a pretty good job defensively" after you've just allowed a bad team to shoot 62% from the field?! I asked in an earlier post if anybody out there knows why we are so bad on defense, but now I know the answer: our coach thinks holding an opponent to 62% is "pretty good". Unbelievable. And getting 13 offensive rebounds is evidence of good effort? Not really when you miss 42 shots.
