YIKES!! Amazing decision. I'm beyond shocked. Something major is about to happen. Pflu and O'Day must have known something and should have acted, but must haven't had. If anything, the players involved in the incidents need to be kicked off the team, but I didn't think the head coach and AD would get canned.

Honestly, although this sucks for the Griz, it's about time that something was done about the fiasco that was happening in Missoula. Yeah that have been winning but was coming at a cost and it needed to change. We've been hearing about the problems for years and they all can't just be "accusations".

Here is a quote from the Missoulian paper:

Barz reported that nine sexual assaults involving UM students had been investigated, including a December 2010 incident in which two women alleged they were drugged and gang raped by members of the football team. Barz said that Pflugrad did not properly report that incident to university officials; in mid-March, Engstrom was asked if Pflugrad would face punishment for that and replied: “We have not taken up that matter at this time.”

Penn State comes to mind - Graham Spanier (former Penn State University President) got fired because he did not do enough in their sex scandal. So, it appears that the UM president saw the hand writing on the wall and fired these two bozos before he got the axe.

UM football will now struggle for several years.
