UNC Game

Long work week and Saturday plans leading me to miss following my first NAU game this season means I haven't thought much about UNC.

50s as the high and 20s as the low in Greeley on Saturday could easily turn into a raging blizzard based on my experiences along the Front Range in Colorado. Will this be the first game of the year in which weather plays a factor? NAU has not done well in the past when snow, rain and/or wind play into the equation.

UNC has a bit of confidence after whooping ISU. Crazier things have happened....NAU better not let up and take this one for granted.

I predict a closer game ...let say NAU by 4.

Go Jacks!

I haven't kept up with UNC either, except for that they lose almost every game. We should win this one, but not by a huge score. I say NAU 35 UNC 21

man everybody has this much closer than i do. maybe weather plays a factor? i got my jacks by 3 tds, no disrespect to the bears. also no injuries this game!

and we complain about attendance at the dome......yeeeeesh :o looks like there is about 12 people attending the game, although I cant see the home side

 wow. we escaped that one by the hair of our teeth. Jesus souers was conservative late 3rd early 4th quarter. It was like he was trying to get out of there with that 6 point lead. Ridiculous. Im happy for the W and we absolutely needed it (and next week vs. ISU) because SUU beat EWU and they are the real deal. Overall pretty dissapointed with the offensive production, the defense did really well up until that last drive. What is different about this season is we found a way to win this one, which we would normally lose. This game caused me alot of stress and although we got the W I still give it a  because UNC is just awful.

Not a good game for us. This is kinda embarrassing. Only winning by 2 points to such a horrible team is not a good thing. Not sure what mentality the team had going ito this one. Maybe they had already put it in the win column before the game started. Hope they get their act together. We don't want to give Idaho State their first win of the season. That would be just     The good thing is we won  This win puts us at #1 in the conf    Should we win at ISU next week, in my opinion that should put us in the playoffs. A win in one of our last two remaining home games would make us Conf Champs :D Who would have thought we would be in this position after that loss to Arizona State? not me!!!

GO NAU!! We can do this!!

ya im really excited. those last wo home games are going to be really tough. im hoping for one out of the two

Sounds like I picked a good game to not to watch/listen to. I caught gametracker updates through the first half then didn't find out the score til Saturday night. Probably for the best as it would have raised my angst level.

Sounds like UNC showed up and the NAU offense didn't. Injuries. Playing in the elements (cold and wind). Perhaps a lack of focus? Who knows but in the end it's a win. Many good teams find ways to win games when they are not having a "good" day. That's what NAU did....won a game they would have lost in the past. Sounds like NAU's defense had another good outing.

Best of luck, Bears. Go Jacks!

Onward to Pocatello. Worry about SUU and Cal Poly later on.
