Should be a good game Saturday night. I just saw that the Coaching staff & sideline crew members will be wearing all black to recognize and support "Equality & Inclusion in Sports".
Can someone please tell me honestly what "Equality and Inclusion in sports" is supposed to mean?
I quit following pro sports because of their over political agenda and I really hope WSU isnt going down that same road.
 
you are missing out not following pro's. college is so unfair its hard to even remain a fan. weber and duke for example are equal in dI basketball.
 
regarding "Equality and Inclusion in sports", no one told me about it. i missed the game cuz wazzuwildcat didnt pick me up for the sac game. next time i see him im going to shove the unused game tkts up wazzu's wazoo!

I'm going to shove Mousegriz up your wazzo tomorrow night at the UNC game. Not sure what he gets out of trolling our fan board since there are only about 4-5 of us that post anyway. He must have plenty of free time living in his mothers basement to come here and insult our basketball program. Totally worth his time I'm sure.

Me finks he is a dummy cunt that needs to grow the phuck up!!! Anyway on to more important things. UNC game tomorrow night should be fun. I felt a little bad not going to Sac State game last night, but its just hard to get excited about the Hornets game on a Thursday night. I watched the OT part of the EWU/BOB game. It was really fun to watch. The Bobs had it then kind of fell apart at the end of regulation. Credit to EWU. They are a scrappy bunch. I really don't want to play them in Boise. Its pretty much a 3 horse race for the regular season title now between Weber, Bobs and SUU. If we can win the last 4 games I think we will at least share the title with the Bobs, but they have a really tough remaining schedule. Its going to be a fun end to the season. I hope we beat UNC's ass tomorrow night or I might have to shove Mousegriz up Coach Rahe's wazzo instead of yours...

Dropped another close game…seriously doubt the Wildcats can catch fire in Boise…but the tournament is as wide open as I have seen it in a while.

I’m not sure what it is, but surprised this team seems to continue to underperform. I don’t think we’ve ever had a team this talented.
There’s no doubt we’re in need of a program reset. We can still win the Tournament, but wouldn’t be surprised if we go home early. It could be dead legs syndrome, it could be a poor coaching performance, it could be our players aren’t as talented as we thought, but whatever it is, I’ll be glad when the season ends. No way I’m going to pay to go to Boise for one game! :bad:

I found the quotes from Rahe in the Standard pretty discouraging. He basically washed his hands of the recent problems and put it all on the team and took zero accountability. That sounds like a coach who has lost any magic and is riding out his contract.

I don’t think that is the coach that players will go through a wall for. Not to mention there are improvements he and his staff could make that could help the team.

Here’s a suggestion, if some players effort aren’t completely there, you could put in a player off the bench…maybe even one who isn’t part of the 3 player bench to light a spark. Maybe an occasional timeout called on bad runs, or maybe set plays run or switching up on defense or offense.

Two more years of this apathy and burnouts at Tournament time, and they might as well move the home games back to the Swenson Gym.
 
I have waited to weigh in on the losses.
The MSU game was due to fatigue.

EWU was playing on the road and some bad luck. Could have easily been a win with a couple of plays going differently.

Idaho loss was because Weber overlooked them. Bad loss.

UNC was similar to EWU. Some bad luck and missed free throws.

But I am a believer that you make your own luck. I hope they learned the lesson to put games away. The sky is not falling. They have the most talent and I predict a great run in the tournament.
