UND 3rd Time

What should the Cats expect? I don't think UND is much different from when the Cats played them in Dakota. Yes, Brekke was just coming back, but he hasn't done much since coming back. I think he played pretty well in that game. Schuler was healthy when the Cats played them and Huff was back in game shape. Only difference would be that Huff has had more time to get into better shape and become more comfortable. but he was on his home floor. So...I don't think much has changed between the two teams other than a handful of games.

Weber State is a tough matchup for UND. For a lot of Big Sky teams, UND is able to win because of their edge in athleticism, but that's not the case against WSU, one of the few teams that can matchup with Webb/Huff/Anderson. Also, UND likes to play with four guards... but again, WSU is the team you can least afford to do that against, because they can pound it inside with Otis and Tresnak.

It will be an uphill battle for North Dakota. But we are now as healthy as we have been all year and have been playing our best basketball over the last month. We seem to do OK on neutral floors this time of year. If we are to have a chance we must share the ball like last night but we too often go one on one. I won't predict a UND win, but I expect the game to be more competitive than the last two games. Should be a fun one........

BINCITY, YOU DONT SOUND VERY CONFIDENT THERE BROTHER, AND YES IT SHOULD BE A FUN ONE... WEBER PLAYS A MUCH BETTER DEFENSE THAT SUU. UND HAS GOTTEN A LOT BETTER AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO, AND WILL BE A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH NEXT YEAR, AS FOR THIS YEAR THOUGH... IT'S GOING TO BE A REMATCH OF LAST YEAR... :coffee: :coffee: I WANT THE GRIZ!!! :coffee: :coffee:

I'm confident that UND will be competetive in the game. But Weber is just too good. I think next year is our year. But anything can happen. I'm hoping that the Wildcats overlook North Dakota considering how easily they handled them twice this year.

WSU certainly can't afford to look ahead to the championship game with UND on its plate today. Just like everyone said, they are playing much better than the last time WSU thumped them. That being said, on a neutral floor, I still think WSU wins by 10. UND will give the Wildcats a much tougher fight than NAU did, but in the end, it still won't be enough.

Make no mistake, UND has weber's full attention. We have already seen how athletic their guards are. Our guys are excited to play them. We get up for athletic challengs. There is no way we would look past them.

By the way; I was in Flagstaff today. If you should hear of a certain Lumberjack's ax being painted purple, I have absolutely no knowlege of it! :tiptoe:

What the hell is going on? Weber's defense is very lol!! Switch up defenses? You can tell UND has xone their homework. They have a handful of plays to take advantage of our man to man.
