Saw this on egriz earlier. Wonder how much that new logo cost :)

I hope I'm wrong, but I think EWU could be in a similar boat right now. Maybe not to the same extent, but I've heard from reliable sources that athletics lost money last season and that the only two sports that were close to breaking even were football and men's basketball. That's not really a shock, as they are the two most popular and well attended sports, but it's reality.

Football especially takes a lot of slack for receiving the most money, but it's clear that they also make the most.

It's been awhile since I've seen the numbers but this has been true at nearly every school, FCS or FBS, nationwide.

They should move down to d2, so their precious hockey gets all the money.

besides when you lose to stony brook and are a 22 point underdog to a team that lost by 67, they should drop down.

It'd be great to have some solid numbers on how much it actually costs to put a division one product on the field. Specifically in a west coast/mid west/east coast conference. Then we could average out attendance numbers & ticket prices to come up with a basic business model/guideline.

That same Stony Brook that piss pounded Richmond.

Go back to BV, you're drunk again. Are we NDSU, no ... nobody is right now.
