UND

Definitely looking forward to tonight's game. UND is definitely a much different team than last year. Hooker is far and away our best player, but Geno Crandall is also playing great, Drick Bernstine has been terrific, and Adam McDermott seems to have found his stroke from beyond the arc.

Watch for Carson Shanks on the floor. Tallest guy we have out there, but has not been playing great. A little too slow and has been getting in foul trouble early. Also been struggling to make his shots. Connor Avants has been great off the bench in his place.

Very young team, but a ton of potential this year, and even more so over the next few seasons.

Had a great time in Cheney tonight. Eags looked like a team that is (and has been) getting better each game. Harrell is playing with migraine headaches lately. Hayford wasn't sure how much he would play, but he gave the eags 9 solid minutes tonight. Ty Gibson and Benzel looked solid off the bench. I don't know if there is a better shooter in the Big Sky than Benzel. Heard Larry say he was #3 in the league in percentage from beyond the arc the other night. Even though he's 3rd, I'd still say he's the best considering he's only a freshman and he's going to get even more deadly from out there. We have some great compliment players that fit nicely with our stars. McBroom had 35 tonight and still leads the league in PPG. Nothing like having a great point guard in March. Venky is a MONSTER. Some of those dunks he had tonight were unreal. It's ridiculous how high he can jump. Blizzard could play point guard. What a talent. Eags are starting to hit their groove. Don't want them to peak too early though. Just keep getting better each game. Tough one this Saturday against N. Col. They got us earlier this season. I'll be at Reese for that one!!!

go eags!

It was a great game. Venky is fun to watch when he takes over a game. Mcbroom was hot hot hot.
Only one question...
Where are the students??????????????
I don't think there was many more than a couple hundred there. :ohno:

clawman,
Heard there were 1650 in attendance. Wonder if much of the Students went home for Valentines Day, or Presidents Holiday on Monday. Venky needs to practice "FREE THROW SHOOTING", He is great when it comes to Dunking. I panic if I see him dribbling the ball and goes past half court, he will be taking it to the rim    ;) ;) ;) . See you and family Saturday 2 p.m. Vic

There were 1,650 in attendance, but those that were there know that it was one of the more spirited crowds we've had in a while. I loved the noise they (our crowd) were making. Sometimes our crowd is flat but this wasn't one of those games. It was a fun atmosphere even with the student section missing. Larry was also wondering what could have caused the absence of students. 3-day Presidents day weekend? Tests? Anyways, our students usually show pretty well and I can only imagine how much louder it would have been had they been there. Anyhow, I was happy with the people that did make the trip out to Cheney. Sounded great in there and I could tell the players were feeding off of it. We stay rowdy where I sit!!! 3rd place all to ourselves now and I believe we're up to 5 wins in a row which is the longest streak in the conference right now. See ya Saturday!!!

GO EAGS!!!
