• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

UNLV Football Scheduling

Ron Kantowski of the Las Vegas Sun suggests in his column that Nevada (Reno) seems to be scheduling the right way, while UNLV (ISU's first opponent this fall) isn't...

At least now you know why there will be fireworks after the UNLV-Idaho State game: There's little chance of seeing any during it.

It sounds like some already have emailed him... 8-)

My item in this space Tuesday about UNR choosing to play Notre Dame in football while UNLV elects to play Idaho State resulted in a bunch of e-mail, most of it unpleasant, from:

Washington State and Iowa State fans, for referring to their football programs as "pedestrian."

Idaho State fans, for mentioning the Bengals in the same sentence as the Washington Generals.

UNLV fans, for neglecting to note the Rebels will continue to play Wisconsin when it makes sense - such as when the bratwurst is hot and the beer is cold.

The WB, for comparing it to the mtn., the Mountain West's lower case (and lower echelon) regional TV network.

But UNR fans thought it was darn near the best thing that I had ever written.
