This is a fine example of a team "throwing in the towel" and unless something drastic happens, this is going to be another sad year at the Park Blocks. The core of the team, which is made up of a great group of women, cannot be enjoying the game the past few years. Murrell's recruiting of transfers from other 4 year schools has not worked although the last three have received "newcomer of the year" awards. The talent on this team may not be NCAA tournament caliber but they should be performing at a much higher level than they are. If such circumstances, it may be time to seek a new coach. Sometimes the team seems like they are simply going through the motions and their chemistry is nonexistent.
