I haven't followed spring ball until this season, is this type of departure normal? If this is true, who would be behind this many guys leaving at once? Players or the coaches? It just seems strange that this many receivers wouldn't want to return especially with the team losing Mackins, Lewis, and Kirkland. But it also seems strange to think that the coaches wouldn't want them back with receiver depth being an issue, and them having a year of experience in the run-and-shoot.

Is it me or do we have a big pool of frosh offensive linemen? Just because you're 6'2 290, it doesn't mean that you'll be good, but it sure is nice to have a bunch of frosh kids coming in together. The offensive line could be shaping up to be pretty darned good in two years if these kids pan out and stick in the system.

Considering it was one of our weakest positions last year, I'm happy just to see some bodies on the roster.

I highly doubt that he's really going to be blocking much. Instead I'm sure they have him there to create mismatches in the passing game.
