Updated roster

A few 4 year transfers this upcoming season from Fresno St., Washington and Arizona State. Along with a few late high school signees that I noticed. I've also heard about another transfer from Oregon State, but don't see him on the roster yet. Talent level seems to be on a real upward trend. Go Viks1

This was the other OSU transfer I was talking about. Cummings runs a 4.3 forty. There will be some good competition for the starting DB position this fall.

#34 Mishawn Cummings

"originally attended Eastern Washington"... NICE dig at the Eags!

I looked at an article from the Oregonian dated January of 2016. Sounds like he was disappointed at not receiving anything more than a preferred walk on from Oregon. Maybe his heart wasn't 100% committed to Eastern. Hopefully with some home cooking, he'll be able to thrive here at Portland State, both athletically and academically.

De'Sean is a very athletic basketball player, hope he can translate it to the gridiron!:

De'Sean Parson

Prev School Salt Lake CC

A member of the Viking basketball program the past two seasons, he is walking on to the football program for spring... was a third team All-Big Sky Conference basketball player this year after averaging team-highs of 14.3 points and 6.2 rebounds

Well, at least he doesn't have to make free throws on the football field. :)
