USC beats Eastern 2-1 in second OT

Awesome game. Eagles played great. Chloe Williams might be the single best Eastern athlete in a given sport EVER. Most polls rate her among the top 25 best women's soccer players in the NCAAs and has a legit shot at being a national team player at some point.

Busselman was on point all day and the Eags played physical warfare and darn near won. Another great year for Coach Bodnar and a great group of seniors.

Congrats Ladies! We are all proud of you!
 
I was able to watch the last 45 minutes or so. Didn't see either of the first two goals, but we were really getting after USC. Sad to see that goal get doinked in on that cross. Kind of an anti-climactic finish to the game. Great game and great season by the Eags. Williams will be hard to replace, but that team has a bright future.
 
Congrats Ladies! We are all proud of you! a wise man once said...and I concur,,,can't say enough about this squad and how they played this season and played the defending National Champs to dbl OT...house announcer put plenty of praise on EWU players/Bodnar and coaching staff.
