Use the Go W not the Flame W or Shield W

I read where Weber State is going to put a permanent W on the mountain…unfortunately they are putting the flame W instead of the Go W. Hopefully, someone can talk sense to them to use the Go W.

I’d like to see the flame W done away with altogether. The W on the shield isn’t that good either…maybe use that for academics only. Reminds me of the 1-10 football year with the awful Ravens style jerseys and white helmets.

The 'Go W' was in full use back when I was a student. I like it a lot for athletics and football in particular. However, I also really like the flame W and feel it better represents the academic side of things. I suppose they had a discussion about all of the options and considered the representation and branding. I'm more than okay with their final choice.

It's still fun to pull out the Go W for football helmets and throwback games. It's nice to revisit that past from time to time.
