The Salt Lake Tribune writes that the search for a new athletic director at Utah State University is entering its final stages.

Candidates who will be interviewed this week are University of Washington senior associate athletic director Steve Barnes and Boise State senior associate athletic director for advancement Curt Apsey.
Former Northern Iowa athletic director Rick Hartzell, Southern Utah University athletic director Ken Beazer, ex-Kansas athletic director Al Bohl and former Iowa State athletic director Bruce Van De Velde have also expressed interest in the job.
