USU - ISU

I've been checking in on the live stats on ESPn and I noticed Hill just came in mid way through the third with the game no longer in doubt. So... Hill is the second string QB, I think?

Just one observation looking at the stats, we have one heck of a punter.

Ugh, it doesn’t get any easier. UNC just put up 47 on Weber in Ogden. The Big Sky looks like it’s up again this year.

ISU had a fair-sized contingent at the game. Thanks to all who came down. Hope you had a great stay.

I quite liked your ## 7 and 10, especially the latter. Tough kid.

Good luck in your league games!

USU has got a nice lil team.. I think they can win 7 games this year. The good news for ISU is, even playing Georgia, we don't have to face another QB like that again this year.. There was some encouraging things to take from the USU game for our guys..

I know the score said different. And, I am not making any excuses. But here is what I got out of the game being there in person......

The "D" is for real. Possibly one of the top 2 D's in the conference. They stopped the run many times on USU and held them on the line of scrimmage. But how long can a "D" be out there until they just get winded? They were out there a bit.

When Hill came in things started turning. I think the other QB did a good job being a freshman but Hill is the go to for now.

Penalties killed our momentum. There were some keys stops on Defense but dumb penalties killed em. False starts killed us. We need to get those taken care of immediately.

There was plenty of fire in the bellies of the Bengals! No intimidation whatsoever.

I believe that all the teams in the BSC are 1-1? Montana lost this past weekend also. It will be an interesting season.
