We have added UVU for this Saturday.

I don't know a lot about them, other than one of our transfers, Tim Fuller, comes off the bench for them.

At this point, I'm just glad to see another game. Maybe we can get USU back on the schedule at some point in the future. :coffee:

A two week break would have been tough. It’s good they got a game scheduled. Since all conference teams will not play same total games, how are the standings determined, win percentage? Some teams will have missed out on playing good teams...so again, that isn’t really fair...and who knows if all games will be played in the tournament.

They should basically theme this year, “I can’t believe it’s a basketball season,” sponsored by I can’t believe it’s not butter.

Oh well free games for the players eligibility-wise is good for them. It will be an interesting game.

The BSC is planning to run the post season tournament. Two categories of teams, those that play at least 10 league games and those that play less. Those that play 10 or more are eligible for one of the top 4 seeds. Those that play less will be seeded after those that play 10 or more. Teams are seeded by winning percentage. Ties will be dealt with by using the established tie breaking methods.

It would be truly stupid if a team not playing the requisite 13 games to be eligible for the NCAA tournament, wins the BSC tournament. Not sure what would happen in that scenario.

I was hoping that some fans would be able to start watching in person soon. The way the Pandemic is going, it may not happen at all. I'm sure that it has everything to do with our liability insurance. Oh well. :coffee:

A win is a win, I guess.

The officiating did not effect the outcome of that game. However, they sure made it difficult to watch. I guess that is what you get when you have to schedule a game on the fly. You get what is left over from all of the scheduled games. Teams have a hard time getting into rhythm when a whisle blows every time down the floor. It wasn't that way in the other two BSC games I watched today. They let the players play in Montana and Idaho today. Those were much more enjoyable games to watch. Those officials did not appear to think that the game was all about them.

I suppose that a game of that sort could pay off, if we ever get a crew like that again. Teams need to adjust to the officials. Hopefully it's not a new adjustment every game. :coffee:

Looks like UVU’s poor free throw shooting did them in. EWU games will be a good measuring stick for the Wildcats.

Looks like those games will be canceled. EWU will not come off their quarantine until the 10th,

We will be scrambling for a game again.
