Thought I'd bust out this article since the Conf Tourney is before us. This took place on the eve of the 2007 Semifinal games. So this was exactly 2 yrs to the game tomorrow. In 2007 we beat PSU just a few hrs after this below "incident". Hey Barker, can you go get arrested again for good luck???? Isn't this person BengalHater on this forum?

Student suffering from canine-delusions celebrates WSU victory, drinks Dew, gets cited

Mar 6, 2007: A parking service employee reported males on the east side of the Dee Event parking lot spray-painting a tree. The investigating officer, when approaching the scene, saw two cans of purple spray paint in an open trunk. When asked what they were doing, one suspect answered that he was marking his terratory which was the spot where he parked. One tree was spray-painted with the word "VICTORY", and another with the word "DEW," because, according to the suspect, they drank Mountain Dew every time WSU won a game. A third tree was spray painted with "DAVE BARKER," the suspect's name. Mr. Barker was subsequently cited for criminal mischief. The investigating officer confiscated the paint.

The Victory Tree was cited in the Standard Examiner article today - Great job Purple Pak!

If you look really close, you can still see where the Canine Barker (looooooool bengalhater, they got your name wrong) "marked" his territory.
