PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland State Athletics Department will host a viewing party this afternoon as the Viking women's hoops team learns their fate for the 2010 NCAA Tournament.

The party will be held at the downtown Portland Buffalo Wild Wings location, 327 SW Morrison Street, 97204. The team will be arriving at 3:15 p.m., and the selection show, which will air on ESPN, will start at 4 p.m.

Portland State fans are invited to come celebrate a historic season with the women's basketball squad, which will be making its first ever trip to the NCAA Division I Tournament. The Vikings captured the Big Sky Championship this past Saturday with a 62-58 victory over Montana State.

NCAA Tournament first round action kicks off on Saturday, March 20, and Sunday, March 21.

Looks like a 2/15 matchup with Texas A&M, but it is in Seattle, so Vikings fans should be able to represent well.

Nice, it'll be on the 20th (Saturday) as well, so heading up for the game will be much easier.

Nice, I was just trying to find the date! I think I will definitely be heading up!

We couldn't have asked to be placed in a better regional. It's a perfect place considering we have so many athletes from the Seattle area. I'm pumped about heading to Seattle this weekend.
