Is the stripe on Portland State's helmet supposed to be a spear? or a Viking horn?

no offense, but the older viking helmet logos looked alot better, these new ones are kind of boring.
 
It is a spear. I'm not thrilled with the helmet, either, but as a Nike school, I'm sure they'll be changing any day now.
