Viral Text Message/Email for PSU game.

I really think if we all work together we can blow up this PSU game. If we all just take a few minutes and email everyone in our address books and text everyone in our phones, we can have and impact. (Not the funnest thing to do, however if I was not invited to a Weber State game last season, I would have never fell in love with the Cats). I already have around 20 people alone that say they are coming. This is the perfect time to invite people to a game because Jazz bear night is usually our most entertaining night of the year and draws big crowds.

This is the text message I sent about 50 people. (type it like I did and it should be exactly 160 characters)
the Fwd: makes it look like your just helping someone else out lol. Which you are!

Fwd:HUGEGAME! WSU vs Portand State (09' tourneyteam) fri7pm. Jazz Bear night, 7k+fans WSU 1st place in conf. Beat ISU(3ot),Mont,Utah PlzFWD2all! SelloutsRsweet!

and then for some of my friends I followed it up with a more personalized message asking them to come and telling them to invite others while letting them tickets are just 8 bucks.

Lets all personally invite everyone we know to this game and ask them to do the same so we can get the crowd our students fans and players deserve, 8k+. Im also going to be sending this message out to alot of people on facebook as well. Obviously we cant do this every game, but this is really the game to invite our friends and family.

This is a brillant idea!! I don't see why we don't always do this?? If we the die hards do this for every game sooner or later we will game more attention and knowing/ coming to the games is automatic. Does anyone know why the campus doesn't send out a mass email to the students via mail.weber.edu? I believe that is very effective. Can anyone do that for us?
 
Also why not include in the message about the promotion for tickets priceses? It's 6 tickets for $25!! That's a heck of a deal! Also include that wsu plays on Saturday as well??
