Visiting Fans tailgate

I have welcomed many Eastern Washington fans to my tailgate at Washington Griz stadium thru the years but have never been to your stadium. People who have been at my tailgate will remember me by the carved statue of Monte standing in my truck and all the shots I provided to you?

I am coming to Eastern for the 1st time and would like a spot to park my truck where we can tailgate and enjoy all the fans. Can someone please help me with this?
I just had hip replacement surgery and would sure like to be as close as possible?
My seats are in section E.

Thank you!

Wish I had better news for you regarding tailgating close by but I believe the 4-5 closest lots are all full with season pass tailgaters.

Most people start street parking a few hours before game time and you’ll probably notice the line of cars on both sides of Washington Street for at least a half a mile. Meters are free on weekends both on campus and on city streets but they’re usually the first to fill up.

I do believe if you call the University in advance, they can help shuttle you to the stadium. Being in Section E, you’ll enter from the West side (upper lot entrance) and be able to walk right down to your seats. Also, depending on where you’re staying, the Holiday Inn will have a shuttle running back and forth to the stadium.

Hope you enjoy your first trip to Cheney! Go Eags!

They do have shuttles up and down Washington St, parking on Washington is free on Saturday. If I had a tailgate spot I'd love to have you stop by, but I'll barely be making it on time as it is.
