Gotta get this thing done! I suspect most of us are hoping NAU can get the win in Cedar City but more importantly it's time for Weber State to realize their destiny as Big Sky Conference champs with a win Saturday, in Stewart Stadium vs the Southeastern Spuds of Idaho State. As always, hoping for a good turnout and vocal crowd on Senior Day to show this team the appreciation they deserve. Coach Hill has done an incredible job at Weber State and I hope he is here at least until he brings home an FCS Championship!

The current weather forecast is:
Game Start -- 40°/ 0% precip / 2 MPH Wind
Game End -- 37° / 1% precip / 4 MPH Wind

Records and scoring against common BSC opponents:
ISU -- 2-4 / 30.0 PFpg / 38.0 PApg
WSU -- 6-0 / 36.3 PFpg / 15.2! PApg

Records and scoring away(ISU) and home(WSU) against BSC opponents:
ISU -- 0-3 / 25.7 PFpg / 37.3 PApg
WSU -- 2-1 / 33.0 PFpg / 21.0 PApg

Idaho State will be the 4th team of the last 5 Weber will play coming off their bye. So far Weber is 3-0 against teams coming off their bye to play us, lets hope Weber makes it 4-0.

Idaho State has shown signs of being really good this year and then turned around on others and looked really bad. I think their head coach is doing a good job up there but needs to be given a little time to get his system set into place.

Idaho State does have some playmakers, their running back is particularly good, and they do have a QB / WR brother combo that is pretty decent as well. They are pretty average overall on offense but below average on defense. This game should be ours for the taking and I think we will.

GO WILDCATS!

Oh and uh Bengals Suck :coffee:

Anyone remember 2008? Weber was 8-2 going into the final game of the season playing a mediocre Eastern Washington team. Undefeated in the Big Sky....we lose....then have to share the title with Montana. Seasons like this only come around every ten years.

If we don't get an early lead this Saturday I will have anxiety.

:puke: Uggh, the worst I've ever felt after a Weber sporting event, along with after Anthony Johnson did his thing.

One of my worst football memories :ohno: Not something I want to relive again.

I hate to say it, but it was one of my best football moments. It was my first game as a student. Weber made a heroic comeback on the back of Trevon Smith until he fumbled in the closing seconds with the game tied. Wow the stadium was loud and everyone was on their feet in the second half.

I had a chemistry test scheduled right after and failed miserably. I quickly learned not to take a test after drinking beer and watching football. Thankfully the professor dropped our lowest score.

Yeah, that one stung. Cam Higgins through a pick-six early where NOBODY made an effort to run the guy down before he scored. Then, we get all the momentum, drive down the field with ease to potentially win the game, and Trevyn Smith runs into the back of one of his own blockers on a long gain and fumbles it away ... :ohno:

2008 weber @ isu was epic. we had over 2,000 weber fans there. we clinched the big sky title and they brought out our first trophy in *40 yrs. mac even had a health issue if i recall correctly!

From what I understand, since Idaho beat us in the head to head they claimed the championship. The Sky, at that time, didn't share the crown?

Yeah, the game in 08 was special. Weber represented really well on the road and the team definitely performed.

i wish the standings woudlnt have been so close. i really wish i could have seen the trophy in portland. i wish i could be at the potato game this sat.

The Big Sky changed the tiebreaker format in the 90s. They used to do tiebreakers based on head-to-head, but now they just do co-champs, regardless of head-to-head outcome.

The Big Sky website shows Weber State as football champions in 1965, 1968 and 2008 - all shared titles with Idaho and Montana. Adding 2017 to the list will be nice.

The sun is out. It will be a great day to watch football live!! I’m hoping for another great Weber State weekend.

Anyone else wish they'd start playing the WSU/SUU game the last week of the season? If that game were today it'd be epic.

(Raises hand) Me!!!
About the time you get that set up, ISU would be on the upswing and SUU would be back down in the cellar where they belong.
